Mike & I tried a different take from the candid, photojournalism style with these studio sessions we photographed at a workshop. The models were wonderful and took our posing directions well. Fun with color & bouquets.
Last week I had the pleasure of photographing a bridal shower for a beautiful bride who will be having a destination wedding in Hawaii. It was a real treat and an afternoon filled with plenty of laughs & giggles..after all it was a room filled with women 
I can only imagine how beautiful her wedding day will be!

Check out some of the fun tropical themed details. The bride’s friends thought of everything, one even baked a cake shaped like flip flops.
A fun game: the guests had to draw a picture of the bride & groom in paradise, it was timed, hence the scrambling hands trying to get just the right color!
The cake was delicious..apparently just one flip flop goes a long way!
And speaking of flip flops, everyone got a pair of their own to take home.
What a lucky bride to have such a great group of friends!
TIP: Hiring a professional photographer for your engagement party, bridal shower or other wedding related event is a great way to capture the fun details & get all the group photos at your party while allowing all of your guests to relax and enjoy themselves.
