We photographed Lou & George’s wedding at St. Hedwig Catholic Church a couple of weeks ago. This wedding was a little more challenging because we were not allowed the use of flash and professional photographers are restricted towards the back. We prefer an unobtrusive style of photographing anyway, so our trusty telephoto lenses came in handy. We zoomed into some intimate moments, such as the beautiful veil ceremony (a Filipino tradition) and the ring exchange.

Check out the last image posted below. The newlywed’s friends whisked Lou away from the party, and the photo was taken right after George rapped “Bust A Move” (YES, I wrote it right!) to the entire reception in order to get her back.

We photographed our last Hawaii wedding this summer for Jon & Evie. They had a beautiful church ceremony in Honolulu followed by a reception in Waikiki. The couple had a cute story about how they ended up together. As kids they grew up in the same neighborhood and practiced the violin together. During the reception the talented newlyweds played a duet for their guests, it was the perfect choice for entertainment!
