An Elegant Affair - Wedding in Beverly Hills

From getting ready to the last dance, Cynthia and Jeff’s wedding was over 12 hours of non-stop action and Mike & I were there to capture it all. We actually first met the couple last spring while shooting Jeff’s sister, Kathy’s wedding in Hawaii. Since then we have had the pleasure of photographing other events for their family and friends and it was a nice surprise when we found out it was Jeff’s turn and that he and Cynthia wanted us to photograph their special day.

The couple wed at Westwood United Methodist Church and then celebrated with a stylish and elegant reception at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Mary Dann and her team of wedding coordinators did an amazing job creating a beautiful, chic wedding and keeping the festivities (lion dancers, a live band, a multi-screen slideshow and a traditional Chinese tea ceremony) on schedule. Of course, with such a well known location…what better place to have the newlywed photo session than across the street from the hotel on Rodeo Drive?!

This was our longest wedding shoot so far and with so many extra photos, we included some extra eye candy so check out the culture, emotion and entertainment from their day in the SLIDESHOW and photos below.

Can you figure out why I LOVE the red shoes!?

Wedding in Camarillo

Lori and James had a beautiful outdoor wedding at Las Posas Country Club in Camarillo and what comes to mind first when thinking about their wedding is..”This couple really knows how to party!” It only takes a quick glance at their photos to see how happy and excited they were to tie the knot and except for some emotional tears shed during the ceremony and speeches, they were constantly smiling and laughing! The excitement was pretty infectious as the couple cheered and hollered with their friends and family throughout the night. The newlyweds and their guests also got pretty busy on the dance floor and gave Mike & I lots of opportunities to try out some fun techniques with the camera.

Another fun thing we got to do for their wedding…drive a little golf cart to a lakeside photo session on the course. Mike took the wheel though so next time I’ll have to make him ride shotgun :)

Below are some of our favorites from the day and watch more highlights in their SLIDESHOW.
