Castle Green - Pasadena Wedding Photographers
We’ve got lots of extra eye candy for our blog readers to celebrate the start of our busy wedding season. Yvette and Craig’s wedding was held on Easter Sunday at the gorgeous Castle Green, a beautiful seven story Moorish and Spanish colonial style estate in Old Town Pasadena. After getting to know the couple from our first meeting through engagement session and final consultations…we can only describe them both as ‘cool and easy going’ so it’s no wonder they make a perfect pair. And of course with great attitudes like that their wedding day went about as smoothly as any bride could hope for.
Yvette wanted to make sure they had plenty of time for their couple’s session so they opted for a ‘reveal’ before the ceremony and after she see’s the priceless moments captured during that first look, I can bet she’ll be glad they made that choice! The ceremony was filled with laughter and tears and after finishing up a few more photos, the couple got the party started with their first dance. A unique part of the evening was the cultural tradition the couple honored…the sake barrel ceremony. Check out some of our favs from the day below and in their wedding SLIDESHOW.
A special thank you goes out to Lan for referring Yvette and Craig to us (Lan & Carl’s ‘train shot’ we took 2+ years ago is still our most requested shot!)

Don’t you just love the blingy “something blue” Yvette added to her shoes?!

The excitement and anticipation of the first look.

After seeing this spot, I knew it would make a perfect Art Pix Panorama (a jaw dropping canvas art print)! Then there is the tough decision caused by having 2 photographers…how do you decide which shot of the same moment is your favorite?

Every nook and corner of the Castle Green was filled with a cool photo op.

No blushing brides here, this beautiful bride was glowing and beaming from ear to ear.

One of my favorite things about shooting weddings, seeing so many smiles and happy faces all day is contagious.
