After being out of commission for a week due to ‘technical difficulties’ (trust me, you don’t want to hear the whole story), Mike & I have been busy catching up on processing recent wedding shoots. In the meantime, we thought we’d share some images I captured of my lovely niece Heather. I photographed her senior session last month while I was visiting my sis’ and her family in Arizona. Heather just graduated from high school last night, my how fast kids grow up!

When Karen and Adam mentioned they wanted to take their ePix in a flower field we weren’t quite sure we’d be able to find any nearby since we were nearing the end of spring. Thankfully, my resourceful hubby remembered the hills near his buddies place were literally covered with wildflowers a couple of months ago and though they were starting to disappear, we were lucky enough to find some gorgeous hidden spots (the last of the spring blooms) that were perfect for the session. Karen and Adam were such a fun pair, up for any ideas we had and I’d have to say the smiles they shared between each other were almost as bright as the yellow mustard wild flowers that surrounded them. We can’t wait to photograph their upcoming wedding at Ponte Winery.
Check out some of our favorites including a fun little stroll they had down the hillside below.
