After all the rain, we were happy to get clear blue skies for  Lauren and Kevin’s engagement session in Seal Beach. Lauren was a referral of our former bride, Aarika, who just won the “Kiss Me With Your Best Shot” contest. We started the shoot at the historic Red Car Museum where coincidentally, another photographer was also shooting an engagement session. Maybe I’m a little biased, but Lauren and Kevin’s natural ease in front of the camera and with each other totally got them cooler pictures

We then headed through the little downtown area to the beach. We started on the pier where a rogue seagull happened to fly over them right as they kissed and then headed down to the sand for some sunset pix. Thanks Lauren and Kevin for an awsome shoot and we’re really looking forward to photographing your ‘big day’. Check out some of our favs below.

Well it was down to the wire as people even took time on busy Super Bowl Sunday to post their votes. Congratulations to Aarika and Riley, the winners of the ‘Kiss Me With Your Best Shot’ contest. They’ll get to display a shiny new 16×20 Metallic Print Float Wrap.

Also, since we had such an awesome response to the contest, we are giving our two runners up, Karen & Adam and Tameka & Tim an 11 x 14 Metallic Print.
