Marina Del Rey Wedding Photographers
Amanda and David wed at the Ritz Carlton, a gorgeous venue with views overlooking the marina and lavish interiors. Once again, rain and overcast skies were predicted, but luckily it passed through overnight and gave way to beautiful blue sunny skies. Gina and I always joke that it must be us bringing the couple good luck because we haven’t yet had a wedding rained out.
From start to finish, their wedding was all about ‘bling’, from Amanda’s studded attire and accessories to the crystals and rhinestones in ceremony and reception decor. We started out with the getting ready pix in the bride’s Presidential Suite and then headed down for the couple’s ‘reveal’. Then it was off around the grounds for their couple’s pictures. One of the coolest locations we found was in the hotel’s lounge area where they had a huge yellow onyx table and luxurious couch in front of a red wall. We had to rearrange some furniture to get the shots we wanted but it was definitely worth it as we came out with some really striking PIX.
The couple then retreated to their room for some quiet time before the ceremony while guests were treated to hors d oeuvres on the pool terrace. After a beautiful and traditional Jewish ceremony on the gazebo lawn, everyone headed to the reception ballroom where all the details reflected the glitz and glam
of the day. After the first dance, toasts and speeches, everyone headed to the dance floor to groove the night away. The end of the evening was full of surprises for David when he was first treated to a Halloween themed candy bar and then a divaesque performance by Amanda who sang Ella Fitzgerald’s “At Last”. Wow can that girl sing! Check out the whole story of the day in their SLIDESHOW.
