A few days after the New Year we met Alex and Joey at Union Station in downtown LA for their engagement session. The couple currently lives on the east coast but they were visiting for the holidays since they are from Southern California and will also be having their wedding here. Union Station was surprisingly busy for a weekday afternoon but Alex and Joey had no problem having a good time and posing for the cameras, even with the onlookers around. They also brought some fun props.

They wanted to finish off their session at the urban light exhibit at LACMA which was a great spot since we had never photographed there and it gave us a chance to work the video light for some cool evening shots.

We shot Kristen and Brian’s engagement pix at Dana Point and got so lucky that the sun decided to peak out for the first time after almost a week of rain and cloudy skies. As you can see, they were full of smiles and had fun in front of the camera, which made for plenty of genuine moments. Check out some of our favorites of the day below.
